The cleaning lady came very early, knocked, and then walked straight in. You can’t hear much from outside, but sounds from the hallway carry right into the room. The place seems good for families. The breakfast buffet is small, with no dairy-free, gluten-free, or vegan choices. I wouldn’t call it five stars, maybe more like three or four.

The hotel was close to the beach and bus stop, with a supermarket right beside it. The room and pool area were okay, but the room cleaning could have been better. The door was thin, so corridor noise came through.

Update: the kitchen is good. The Wi-Fi, though, is unreliable and slow when it does work, so you’ll need your own stable internet if you plan to work. We also missed having a “Do not disturb” sign on the door for times when we wanted to skip room cleaning. We haven’t tried the nearest restaurant yet because there are so many others around, and we’ve been having supermarket breakfasts. The burgers do look good, though. It’s good value, right in the middle of everything, with a nice pool area. I’ve had a hard time finding anything to complain about.

Apart from the door lock, things were fine. The toilet flush, fridge door, and stove all had problems when we arrived, but the hotel fixed them. The door knob was the worst part: it was hard to unlock quickly and the door locked as soon as it closed. That felt very unsafe in case of fire because it could take a couple of minutes to get out. It’s also a problem with kids, who can lock themselves in a bedroom and need a knife or something flat to open the door from outside. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the beach is within walking distance.
