Aeolos Bay Tinos

It was so peaceful here, even though the center is only about five minutes away. The hotel sits across from the sea and has a swimming pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate well, too. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful Greek island, with its distinctive architecture and traditional celebrations. Leaving with lovely memories, and hoping to return to Aeolos Bay Hotel on Tinos Island.

A really relaxing sea view, and breakfast by the pool was great. The beds were comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly. We had an incredible five-night stay and would definitely come back next summer.

The sea view room was a highlight, and we had a very nice stay. We did have to change rooms after two days because of bookings, but the staff were nice. Breakfast only had two types of food, so adding fried eggs would be good. We’d also agreed on a late checkout, but I’m not sure what happened with that after the staff changed.

The port shuttle was useful, and the driver was friendly. The bar maid and breakfast waiter were friendly and accommodating too. But the room was a standard double with single beds, although my brother had booked and paid for a triple. When he asked about it, the desk staff insisted they had removed a bed for us. I’ve been to Greece ten times and know what a triple room should feel like. There was barely room to open my suitcase, which I had to leave in the main aisleway. A third bed would have left the room crammed wall to wall. The toilet also seemed more for show than use, so bring your own plunger. Be wary of the older woman at reception, who speaks perfect English. The website photos were taken by an amazing photographer, because the room looked nothing like that. Nope.
