The balcony looking out over the water was terrific, and the room was very good. The door shuts out all the noise. Staff were extremely kind and helpful, especially when we asked about gluten free breakfast. The bread was amazing. Perfect location, and I can thoroughly recommend it.

It's well placed for anyone without a car, but this definitely wasn't value for money. The facilities and furniture are quite old, and the aircon wasn't working properly during those very hot days. I was traveling with my 11 year old and asked to extend our stay by two hours, offering to pay. Even though a room was available, they told us there wasn't one, so we had to book another hotel for just a few hours. That wasn't a nice way to treat travelers with kids.

We had a lovely three-night stay. Our room faced the sea and had a small balcony, and everything in the hotel was spotless. Towels were changed every day. The bathroom was a good size, though the shower cubicle was small, and the shower itself worked well. Breakfast had plenty of choice each day. There's no tea making setup in the room, but the woman at the desk happily made tea for us each evening to take upstairs. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. It's a five-minute walk from the port and close to town, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Parking is the one drawback: between 20:30 and 1:00 you have to move the car or park farther away. The renovated wing had excellent rooms, and the service was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, and breakfast was very good. The location is very nice. I'd recommend it.

Great value, lovely views, and brilliant staff. The hotel is in the town center, and the recently renovated rooms are quiet, with new AirCon and comfortable beds. The front rooms have useful balconies. I'd stay here again.
