Paliokaliva Village Zakynthos Studio

Aircraft noise was the big drawback for us. Planes departing flew directly overhead from around 7 a.m. until after 10 p.m., so you'd need to be very resilient or used to noise to ignore it. Such a shame, as the rest of the place would otherwise be wonderful. We stayed at Paliokaliva Village for 11 days in September 2025, two adults and two children. The property has several small, tastefully designed and furnished stone houses, kept in very good condition and set in a stunning garden with ancient olive trees. The pool is lovely, especially for children. Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a plentiful, good buffet, although the bread wasn't always fresh.

We've been coming back to Paliokaliva for 12 years with our children and still love it. It's a very safe, family-friendly place, ideal for families with younger kids.

A great getaway with small children. We used the nice pool a lot, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was good. The people working there were really nice. Thanks Nikos, Rafael and Katarina for making our stay even more pleasant!

The rooms are very large, and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. I loved petting the cats, and the pool is quite large and very nice. The staff were helpful and kind, and breakfast was delicious. Try the homemade lemonade, it's wonderful! It's a little far from everything, with at least a kilometre of walking to get places, but otherwise it was a dream. The internet was a bit of a problem in the bedrooms, especially if someone was in the living room. One thing to watch out for: the beach you reach by turning at Sissy's Market is a hotel beach. Google and Apple Maps show it as an ordinary beach, but only a small section without sun loungers is public. I recommend the beach behind the proton, the name of the store. Sunbeds there cost 15€ or 25€ for the better ones, and the beach bar has delicious cocktails. I recommend mango passion fruit.
