Sterre of the Sea

I spent most of my time on the main terrace, just taking in the view. It's spacious, and you can linger there from sunrise until the stars come out, whether you want to read, eat, have a glass of wine, or work remotely. The Starlink WiFi is impressively fast at 100 Mbps. In the mornings, there's birdsong and the sound of waves, and the sun rises right over the sea, turning the sky soft gold. Down below, a private beach is just a two-minute walk via a step ladder, with turquoise water and soft sand. My cozy apartment for one to two guests had a small kitchen, a comfortable double bed, a desk, and its own balcony. The larger upstairs flat, for 2-4 people, is just as magical, with a rustic wooden kitchen, a charming fireplace, and panoramic sea views that make you feel like you're captaining your own ship. At night, stars fill the sky, moonlight dances on the water, and the cicadas sing. It's lovely to sit there with a glass of wine and the sounds of nature, then drift off to sleep. Angeliki and Angelos, a mother and son born on Zante, are the heart of the place. They're warm, generous, attentive hosts who make you feel welcome. A mini market and an authentic local taverna are a 15-minute walk away. Guests can also use the nearby hotel's pool and restaurant. Sterre of the Sea is a peaceful retreat for solo travelers, couples, and anyone working remotely. I'll definitely return. Highly recommended.
