The little bio design pool and hammock made it easy to relax. We could see fields with olive trees and sheep from the balcony, and it was only a ten-minute walk to the beach. Our room at Thires Guesthouse was comfortable, clean, and had air conditioning. There’s also a shared kitchen with a barbecue. The owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

The rooms are spotless and lovely, and the setting is one of the island’s best, quietest spots. It’s a peaceful place among greenery, with a distinctive pool that fits naturally into the landscape. When we come back to the island, this will definitely be one of our first choices…

The room was a bit small, but otherwise comfortable, and it had air conditioning, which came in handy. Thires Guesthouse on Vassilikos was just right for us, tucked away in the quieter part of Zakynthos. There are beaches and nice restaurants within walking distance. The staff were lovely and we had everything we needed. Our room was cleaned almost every day during our week there, with fresh towels too. They even washed our clothes on request and brought them back the same day. The garden has lots of olive trees, and the pool was a nice place to unwind after a busy day.

We had a really nice holiday, though the rooms are quite noisy. You can hear doors banging, people walking around, and the cleaners. It’s not terrible, but you notice it. The shared kitchen came in handy when we wanted to cook properly, since doing that in the room isn’t really possible. The pool was lovely for cooling off, and we could borrow beach towels to take along and return afterward. Staff were very friendly. There’s air conditioning, shower gel, and soap, and the shared space has plenty of information leaflets and books to read. The place is a gem in Vasilikos, away from the busy area, just as we wanted. The rooms were clean, tidied and cleaned every day, with fresh towels folded into fun shapes.
