Apollo Hotel

The infinity pool has a wonderful view, and you can sit in it while having a drink. The bar also welcomes non guests. Drinks are very cheap, especially during happy hour from 6-10pm, when a beer is €3!! 🍻 The tables and rooms are on a rather isolated stretch of road, so we had to make sure our taxi kept going past the pier. I’d recommend it to tourists and locals.

The food overall wasn’t very good, and breakfast was the same each day with little to choose from. There’s a small beach near the hotel, but it has no facilities. Our room had a terrace, though the air conditioning from two other rooms blew onto it, so sitting outside was impossible. It was a quiet place, the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the pool was nice, if a little small.

The pool bar was a pleasant place to unwind after a long day in the sun, and the staff were polite. The room and bathroom were clean, and there’s free parking. The center and restaurants are very close, with the beach just across the street and the island’s usual clear water. It’s good value for money. My one personal comment is that breakfast could be better.

The view was magnificent, and the setting right on the beach felt very romantic. The infinity pool was great, though the furniture was a little old and the food was bad.
