Acave Santorini Suites

We found Acave a good value for a distinctive cave-style stay, especially for couples, and the staff's attentiveness and friendliness made the visit even better. We had all the kitchen equipment we needed, though the Wi-Fi was slower in our Standard room than in the shared hall and kitchen. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly during our two-day stay, and the hot tub was enjoyable. The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from the airport, 25 minutes from Oia, and 20 from Fira. Santorini is compact, so location may not matter much, but it worked well as a base for exploring the island. We'd recommend it.

Fay was fantastic at sorting out a rental car and taxi service. The place itself is gorgeous, huge, and has a spacious living room and hot tub. It was modern and very clean. It's a little tucked away from the main sites, so you'll definitely need a car. We loved Acave :)

My family really loved this place in Santorini, it was so cool! The Greek cave style felt really nice, but the place was modern, new, clean, and well furnished. They provided coffee, plus two sets of towels and slippers for each person. Fay was super friendly and nice, and got back to us almost immediately. It's a bit far from some parts of the island, so you'll have to call cabs to get to the buses. But for the very low Santorini price, how nice it was, and the length of our stay, it was perfect and worth it!

I've stayed in Santorini many times, but Acave's cave house felt quite different. In Vothonas, we were almost on our own among the locals, with a few churches nearby. It was a mysterious, lovely change from the island's other very touristy spots.
