The owner cancelled my family's stay the night before our booking and took no responsibility. We were travelling from Germany with five little children. He offered another place, but its conditions were bad, and all he said was, “I'm sorry.” With young kids, being left without somewhere to stay would be even worse. Please take this review seriously, it's sincere.

The staff made the place feel so homely, and I'll definitely come back if all goes well. The location is ideal, close to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into town. The rooms were very clean, there was air conditioning, and the kitchen had what we needed, including a toaster. The pool has a lifeguard, which is rare in most places. At check-in we were told that the rooms we'd prepaid for when booking weren't available because the owner had given them to someone else.

We booked an apartment with a sea view near the beach on booking for 98 euros a night. On arrival, the owner said it wasn't available and offered us a room at another property he had, up on a hill, far from both the beach and town. It was just a triple room with old furniture. He wanted the same 98 euros a night, even though booking listed that room at 56 euros. I asked him either to refund the difference or return what we'd paid for the apartment. He refused and said our choices were to stay in the room he had available or cancel through booking, which would mean losing the 390 euros we'd paid for four nights. He said if we rejected those options, he'd cancel the reservation and we'd lose the money anyway. While we considered what to do, I called booking and explained the situation. Thankfully, they cancelled the booking and assured me I'd get my money back, which has already happened. The owner also laughed and said that “losers” pay him 140 euros a night in high season and he sends them to the horrible place on the hill. The pool was very small and dirty. It was the only part of the accommodation we could see because it was outside, in front of the villa. We lost a full sunny beach day looking for somewhere else to stay, and we had two little kids with us. He didn't care. I'd strongly advise people to avoid this place.

The rooms smell strongly of mold, the Wi-Fi has no internet, the AC doesn't work, and there are no lights outside on the terrace. I might have accepted these conditions if I'd known what I was paying for.
