Perantzada 1811

We were very sad to leave. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms that have their own distinctive decor. Its location is fantastic, with beautiful harbour views, and the pool was clean and had a great outlook too. Antonio and Katerina gave us such a warm welcome, and all the staff helped us feel at home. Breakfast was lovely, and the cakes were a treat. We had no negatives about this hotel.

We arrived very early on the first ferry and hoped we could leave our bags somewhere secure. Antonio welcomed us in, offered a delicious complimentary breakfast, and let us enjoy the pool and fabulous view as long as we liked while we waited for our room. The room was large and stylish, with a sea view. Friends had recommended the hotel, and we weren't disappointed. Everything was perfect, and the staff were charming and so helpful. We were gutted we couldn't stay longer because they were fully booked, or we would've extended our visit. We'll be back!

What made our time at Perantzada special was how well Antonis, Katerina, and the staff looked after us. They were always glad to help, whether we needed something in the room, a taxi called, or advice about what to do on Ithaca. We had exactly the peaceful, relaxing week we needed. Thank you. The building is beautiful, in a perfect spot in Vathy, and the individually decorated rooms are clean and serene. Breakfast by the pool was a lovely start to the day, and the bay view from the pool is fantastic. A drink there at sunset is well worth it too. This hotel is a real gem.

Six minutes on foot gets you to every restaurant you could want, and it feels like pure luxury. We couldn't be happier. If you're after peace and quiet and the friendliest staff on the island, this is the place. The views are the best, the pool is great, and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for Antonio and Katerina. Since finding this hotel, we've never looked back or booked anywhere else.
