Olympia Guesthouse

We had a room for three, me and my two children, and slept through the night without any noise disturbing us. The beds were very good quality, the room was a good size, and parking was easy. Everything was decent and clean, and our room also had a cute balcony with a view.

This isn’t pet friendly, despite what the Airbnb listing says. We called today to check, and the owner told us pets aren’t allowed. Imagine reserving and traveling all that way with a pet, only to arrive without a room and lose your money. Please correct the listing. It’s unfair to potential guests to be led to expect this kind of hospitality.

The owners are very friendly and know a lot about things to see in the area. He gave us detailed advice, the kind of helpful guidance other places should offer. The room itself was simple, clean, and quiet, fitting for a small town almost out in the country. I think they have 10 plus rooms, so calling it a guesthouse is a little misleading. The center is only several minutes away on foot, with plenty of restaurants and places to eat or have a drink. The 3 tombs museum is also a few minutes' walk; the big museum and the archaeological site up on the hill are each about a 6 minute drive away. The location is peaceful, near both the archaeological site and the village center, and I really enjoyed my stay. The owners are very nice and add something special to their villa. My room was clean and the mattress comfortable. The bathroom is small but fine, very clean, and supplied with towels, shampoo or bath gel, and soap. There’s a pleasant lounge on the ground floor by reception where you can have coffee or a drink. It’s a warm-hearted place, with an excellent price to quality ratio.
