The balcony had a lovely sea view and felt private, and the room itself was roomy with fairly comfortable beds. We stayed for 10 days and were happy with the price. The pool was quiet on most days, which suited my 6-year-old, and mini markets and restaurants were about a five-minute walk away. The owner was friendly and around for much of the day. Towels, bedding, and bins were changed every four days. The kitchenette and bathroom were very basic, though. Some of the bedding was yellowing or had holes, a screw stuck out of the wall, and the hot plate was broken, so they had plugged in a portable stove. The kettle had no filter. Good value if you want a no-frills holiday.

What's wrong with the rooms being basic? You get what you need, and it's a good place to stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the owner is nice. I don't get why some people expect everyone to speak English. Recommended!

I'd choose somewhere near the airport next time. This place is clean and tidy, but BASIC. Shops and restaurants are a short walk down a steep hill. There's a car rental place opposite, which is handy, because you'll need a car for most of your stay. Drive to COSTA COSTA BAR AND BEACH, it's cheaper than a taxi.

The pool was stunning and everything was kept clean. It's a quiet, peaceful spot, with shops and restaurants not far away. The place is basic, but also clean and close enough to the local bars. We stayed for two weeks last year and really enjoyed it. The owner speaks a little English and is very laid-back. He just wants everyone to have a good time, and lets you use the pool in the evenings. I was nervous after seeing so few reviews, but I can't recommend it enough. We plan to return this year.
