The beach day at Four Seasons was worth it. The spot is lovely, the beach service was great, and both the loungers and the clean facilities made it easy to relax. Lunch was more mixed: the prawns saganaki were great, but the Greek salad needed more olive oil and flavor for us, the potatoes were soggy, and the meatballs were very dry. The cappuccino Freddo and homemade lemonade were fantastic, though. I’d come back, and maybe try the local fishermen’s fresh fish next time.

We were only there for the day, but the beach staff were really attentive and the service was excellent. One thing to know: this isn’t part of the Four Seasons chain, although people clearly assume it is and stay because of that. We were told they’ll have to change the name next year.

The water taxi that comes with the hotel made getting around so easy, though you can also walk into town. The rooms were great, and both the staff and management were fantastic. I’d absolutely recommend staying here and am already looking forward to going back.

The beach is lovely, but Hydra has beautiful beaches everywhere. This place has no connection to Four Seasons Hotels, despite the name. I found the customer relations poor and the GM unfriendly. The rooms and shared areas are badly designed. It felt like a very poor imitation, and the whole thing seemed like a scam.

They seemed focused on looking classy, but the restaurant service was indifferent. They got our reservation date wrong, then charged us for extra desserts without acknowledging the mistake or apologizing. It felt like they didn’t care that we were paying guests. I’ve had better service at fast food places. The upscale image doesn’t match the experience, which was disappointing and laughable. I’d avoid it.
