The quiet setting made this a great place to unwind, and Peroulia Beach is just a five-minute walk away. Our simple apartment had the basics for a comfortable stay and was clean, with a kitchen for easy cooking. We stayed in upper apartment 4a, which has a little terrace and a lovely sea view. Each morning we watched the sunrise over Messenian Gulf. The Spourgitis apartments sit among olive trees, and Nicolaos welcomed us with his own olive oil and olives. You’ll need a car to explore the many beautiful beaches around Messinia. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Nicolaos :)

I felt at home during my two weeks here, and I’m hoping to come back soon. This was my second stay at Spourgitis holiday homes. Nikos is a great host, always around if you need help. The houses and apartments have what you need for a holiday, including a full-size fridge with freezer, plenty of kitchenware, and two air conditioners. They’re clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony, outdoor shower, and parking. The setting in an olive grove is really peaceful. There’s a lovely beach within walking distance, though the way back is uphill. A car is useful for getting around, and there’s a great supermarket in the nearby village, plus plenty of beaches and places to visit. Thanks, Niko!

The beach is about five minutes away, with calm, clear water. There are two Greek restaurants and a beach bar there, plus an interesting place at the lower end serving tasty Texan food and Austrian desserts for a change. The restaurant at the upper end is very good, though a bit more expensive. A supermarket with just about everything is five minutes away by car. In the same direction, Koroni is about 20 minutes away, and Pylos is roughly 60 minutes away via Methoni. The apartment is very basic, but it has everything essential. The location is beautiful, and from 4a there’s a fantastic view across the sea to Koroni and the Mani opposite. The landlord is very kind and helpful. It won’t suit anyone looking for luxury.

Just disgusting. There were over 50 spiders in the house, even though the cleaner was supposedly just there. There’s only one air conditioner, in the hallway, and you have to pay extra for it. You can’t open the windows because they have no screens. I can’t believe anyone charges money for this place. It belongs in a dungeon. Stay away if you want to enjoy your vacation. I’m ashamed I gave it even one star.
