The property is stunning, with unbelievable views from the outdoor seating area. It’s in a peaceful spot that’s great for relaxing, but only a short drive from beaches and towns. Maria was a fantastic host and reachable on WhatsApp whenever we needed something. I’d also highly recommend Mexatas Mas, right next door.

The landscape design and breakfast were truly wonderful, and we really enjoyed both. A few things did make the stay less comfortable, though. We couldn’t get a restful night on the main bed, and the extra bed we paid another €100 for was just sheets set up in the living room. The air conditioner was loud at night, too. There weren’t enough groceries and amenities for our group. With no minimarket nearby, getting water or supplies was challenging, and without a car it would be impossible. We also hadn’t been told that cars can’t reach the apartment. Carrying luggage up all those stairs after a long trip was hard, so it would help future guests to know in advance. I hope this feedback is useful. A few changes could make the stay more comfortable and a better match for the price. Wishing you all the best.

We got married in Santorini in August 2023 and spent a week at Terra e Lavoro. It was the best trip my husband and I have ever taken, and Maria had a lot to do with that. The Airbnb was clean, spacious, cozy and fun. We ended up loving our time at the place, relaxing in the jacuzzi or taking in the weather and views from the patio. Maria and her husband were incredibly kind and generous, even giving us lovely gifts to celebrate our wedding. They helped with everything we needed, from transport to food and laundry. Maria was only a text away and went above and beyond as a host. Being in another country and having such caring people there for you made a real difference. By the end, we thought of Maria and Chris (her husband) as friends. Terra e Lavoro is in a perfect spot, very quiet but not far from Fira, with easy transport to the rest of the island. Metaxi Mas is only a couple of feet away, and I’d argue it’s the best restaurant on the island. The food is so good and fresh. I highly recommend staying here.

This was the highlight of our trip to Greece. The place is gorgeous inside and out, and the hosts were quick to respond and really attentive. We booked through Airbnb. Breakfast orders were taken each night and brought every morning within the expected time. A big plus is that it’s attached to the popular open-air restaurant Metaxi Mas. The indoor hot tub was awesome, but the outdoor one stayed too cold to use at night, never getting above 33C. 40C would be ideal. Oia also isn’t within walking distance, so we had to pay 40 euros each way for a VIP transfer.
