The food had a great range, and even my vegetarian wife had plenty of options, which isn’t always easy. Maria was so helpful with advice on places to see and booking catamaran cruises. George worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was happy, and all the staff were friendly and ready to help. We stayed at Anema Boutique Hotel and Villas for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Our spacious villa was immaculate, with loads of room outside and a gorgeous sea view from the pool. It was peaceful, and the food was amazing. Having a car makes it easy to get to Fira and Oia, both well worth a visit, though the staff can arrange transportation if you need it. We’d love to come back and spend longer on the island, and would certainly stay at Anema again.

Julia’s food was a highlight, fresh and full of flavor, with lovely presentation. George was always ready to help and went out of his way to make guests happy. At the front desk, Christina and Maria were welcoming, efficient, and smiling, while Ivan was attentive and friendly at every meal. Anema Boutique Hotel and Villas has a stunning team and we can’t wait to return!

It’s the people who make this place stand out. We’ve traveled quite a bit over the years, and few places have made us feel this special or cared for. The whole atmosphere was pure bliss. The morning after our holiday, we missed George bringing breakfast, the sea view, and those blue skies. We wished we were back there.

We loved the quieter side of Santorini here. Vourvoulos is easy to reach, and Imerovigli is a steep walk uphill or a short drive away, with breathtaking caldera views. We had a great meal at Aidani Restaurant in Vourvoulos, a family-run place with authentic food and warm, genuine hospitality. Christina was always available with thoughtful tips on transport, tours, and excursions, including a trip to the fascinating historic site of Akrotiri. The whole team made us feel welcome. George and Constantina went out of their way to help us feel comfortable, Julia served exquisite Greek dishes, and Evan’s warm hospitality and wine service made our evenings special. Housekeeping kept the room to a very high standard of cleanliness throughout. Christina’s care began as soon as we booked. She arranged our included airport transfers and a complimentary room upgrade, and made sure the details were taken care of. The hotel is serene, and the attentive service and genuine warmth made this an unforgettable stay. We can’t recommend Anema Boutique Hotel enough, and look forward to returning.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Anema earned one. The accommodation and food were both excellent, and the team made sure our family had a wonderful holiday. Maria, George, Julia, Christina, and everyone else, thank you for such lovely hospitality!
