The villas look picturesque, set on the mountainside among traditional stone houses, with lovely pools viewed from the pool deck. You’ll need a car to get there, and reaching the second floor means climbing steep, narrow stairs, so guests need to be in good shape. It could have been an ideal getaway, but the amenities are very basic. The mattresses and linens were poor quality, and they only supplied cheap soap and shampoo, with no conditioner or lotion. Kitchen supplies were basic too. For the price, it wasn’t worth it.

By the end of August 2025, it was quiet, which suited us, and the view was really nice. The location does mean driving everywhere, though that’s useful if you plan to explore the island. The pool bar opens at 3 pm, so bring water for the next morning or you’ll have to drive up the hills to find a market. It would help if the owners left a bottle of water in the fridge, maybe with some ice, especially before you’ve learned the roads. Finding the place was tricky, partly because of Google Maps, though that seems to have been fixed. Look for the second sign, the old one that’s still valid, to get to the parking. The place is nice, but in my opinion the owners aren’t keeping it in good shape anymore. It wasn’t cleaned for a while, and there was an extra charge for bad sheets. At this price, that’s not acceptable, and the stay wasn’t worth the cost.

The building, pool, and pool bar are in a very peaceful setting. My apartment was clean and spacious, and I really liked the atmosphere. The view from Urania apartment was excellent, and the owner was very helpful.

It’s a nice place for a holiday, but it feels cut off from the rest of the island. Going out means paying 40 euros for a cab or having someone in your group drive.
