The pool is fantastic, and the place is remarkably quiet. The couple who run it are welcoming to everyone, though they are around all the time and will judge you if you forget to switch off the air conditioning. The rooms are a little dated, with no locks on the toilets, but otherwise fine. It's also well placed for Zakynthos city, Laganas, and Kalamaki.

Avoid this place. I found the owner drunk, shouting and speaking aggressively to customers, and they wouldn't let me run the A/C below 24 degrees. I don't think that kind of behaviour has anything to do with Greek hospitality. It felt like they wanted payment while refusing the services we'd agreed on. The room looked good, but I wouldn't pay for somewhere that won't let you use air conditioning, which is essential in a Greek summer. The owner's son was alright, a real gentleman who knew how to speak to people, but his father is ruining the family business. The service and behaviour were bad, and it was a waste of money. I paid by credit card and got my money back after disputing the charge with booking.com. They first said I'd never shown up, but I had photos from inside and outside the place and won the case. They clearly lied to keep the money. If you have time to deal with a problem, don't even speak to them, call the tourist police and let them sort it out. If you're only there for a few days like I was, find somewhere else and do a chargeback. Take photos of the place as proof if you need to dispute it.

Katerina, Nikos and everyone, thank you! The owners' warmth and attention to detail were unlike any welcome I've had anywhere I've stayed. The apartments were lovely, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located.

A lovely, peaceful place with tidy, clean apartments and really welcoming owners. They'll even give you a lift to Kalamaki harbour or the strip.
