Casa Faustina Boutique Hotel

We loved unwinding in the rooftop chairs after a long day, just soaking up the sun in such a peaceful spot. The room was comfortable, the bed especially so, and the mini-split A/C worked great. The place felt quiet and safe at night, which made sleeping easy. The main town is about a 7-10 minute walk, but the roads aren’t much of a pleasant stroll, and it’s not central if you want to be right among everything. We also didn’t have hot water for the shower last night or on our final morning, which was disappointing. Still, we’d recommend it if you’re after comfort, quiet, and a safe feeling.

The garden was one of my favorite parts of staying at Casa Faustina. Breakfast is optional, but I’d absolutely recommend it: waking up, walking into the lush garden, and having delicious food with Guatemalan coffee was lovely. I also booked a massage with Milly at the spa. It was so relaxing, and afterward they gave me a mimosa; I took it up to the rooftop and enjoyed the mountain views. I was in Antigua for a wedding over a long weekend, traveling solo from the U.S., and felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The staff were kind, helpful, and friendly. My private room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with a smart TV and Netflix, filtered water, A/C, and hot water. The WiFi was reliable too. Cafes, shops, and sights are walkable, and Uber rides are very affordable if you need one. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay so much and would love to come back. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and a good size, and breakfast was very good. Everyone made us feel at home, with great hospitality and service. It’s in a very quiet area, not far from el arco, and the spa is another great feature. Fully recommend staying here.

The location made it easy to walk to central park and explore Antigua’s shops and businesses. Inside, the hotel is full of vibrant colors and colonial design. The food was perfect, and I’d highly recommend the spa services too. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Thank you for everything!
