The library alone could keep me there forever. After many stays at Casa San Juan, I still love coming back to its extensive, lovely gardens and shared area at the end of the day. Casa San Juan is in San Juan del Obispo, away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Antigua Guatemala. I love Antigua's beauty too, but this quieter retreat feels like a bit of heaven. The design throughout CSJ is distinctive, carefully done, and thoughtful about the environment. Filtered water across the whole property is a rare luxury in Guatemala. Everything felt intentional, as though it was meant just for me, and I left feeling surrounded by goodness and white light. I highly recommend staying at Casa San Juan!

Ginger the owner was so gracious and made me feel right at home. The rooms, decor, yoga classes, and food were all beautiful and amazing, and the location is ideal, close to Antigua. It's one of the most incredible, peaceful places I've stayed. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It's more than just a place to sleep, it's an experience I can't recommend enough.

The breakfast was one of the best I've had, and the woman who served us each morning was so kind. Our host was wonderful to share her home with us. The accommodation felt open and spacious, with beautiful decor and lovely gardens. We loved it.

We stayed in the Lapiz Lazuli room, with beautiful architecture and decor. The volcano and town views were out of this world, and the meals and amenities were so good. The location is perfect, right down the street from Antigua.

Such a lovely place, with amazing, healthy food and a quiet, peaceful feel. It's close to Antigua, but feels like an oasis of calm. I love the workshops, and it's also a great place just to stay the night.
