I rarely post a bad review, but I had an unacceptable experience here. A significant amount of money went missing from my room during my stay, and I have no explanation for it other than theft. I also paid the staff to wash my clothes, but several valuable, good-quality items were taken and never returned. That felt incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. On top of that, the hotel asked us to pay through an external, sketchy link instead of a secure, official method, which raised serious concerns for me about their integrity and safety practices. I felt unsafe and disrespected.

The location was acceptable, within reach of Central Park and most of the shops and stores. The place itself was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the customer service excellent. Booking was simple, though the price differed from what was advertised. Still, it was a good deal for the price, and I’d definitely stay again.

A great deal for the price. We stayed three nights and found everything super clean, including the shared bathroom. The housekeepers were really on top of it. The staff were amazing, the modest rooms were comfortable and charmingly decorated, and the beds were cozy. The courtyard was cute, and we felt safe and secure. The location was easy to walk from, without being too loud or near the main roads.

It’s really affordable to get a double room with a private bathroom here, and the room is basic but has everything needed. The little garden area is very cute. I didn’t try breakfast, but there are three options for about 30 Quetzales. One evening receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. The person who first welcomed me was just regular and could’ve explained more or shown me around. It’s a little at the edge of the centre, but everything’s easy to reach on foot. Overall, recommendable for what you pay.

We spent a week here and felt right at home. It’s a family-run place near plaza Merced, with shops and sights within walking distance. The rooms are roomy, the beds comfortable, and the staff are constantly keeping everything clean. We liked having breakfast or coffee in the spacious garden patio, and could use the kitchen for simple things like coffee or lunch. Laundry is available for a fee, and they held our bags and bikes while we went on the Acatenango trek. Five stars, and I’d give more if I could.
