We booked their shuttle to Lake Atitlan, due to leave five hours after checkout, but it was canceled because not enough people had booked. We'd already paid $25 USD for a night at another hotel there and couldn't get that money back. The manager offered just $1USD off the cost of staying another night and taking a shuttle the next morning. This mistake made the stay unpleasant and cost us a day of our trip. I wish the manager had offered more to make it right. The staff were friendly apart from this incident, though the facilities could use some work.

The room was nice and the toilets were clean, but there wasn't anywhere to sit and relax.

It's a good spot for a quiet stay, while still being very close to the city center. The rooms were clean, and the shared bathroom was very clean too. The receptionist was friendly and kind, and helped with anything we needed.

It's very close to the main square, with a gym right next door. The blankets are quite thin, though, and there's no kitchen, terrace, or smoking area.
