We ended up leaving for another place. The room and beds we’d booked online weren’t available when we arrived, so we took a different room for one night with very uncomfortable bunk beds. Then staff wanted us to switch rooms for night two and move back on night three. Another girl in our dorm was also asked to move between beds during her three-night stay. It was a lot of hassle, and the service was very poor. We’re trying to get a refund for two nights. You can’t really sit and relax upstairs because it’s a restaurant. Disappointed, save your money and book somewhere else.

We came back three times because the staff were so helpful, the rooms were great, and the prices were good. There’s tasty food and drinks upstairs too. A great place to stay while visiting Antigua, and I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed for a week and had a good time. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, there’s a kitchen with free water, and the layout is really unique, with a pizza place and a couple of other bars built into the hostel. It was very cheap, especially through Agoda. I paid about $7 a night, which is hard to find in Antigua. Wi-Fi was weak in the rooms at the back but worked fine just outside them. It got loud toward the weekend with the bar right above the rooms, though I didn’t mind falling asleep to reggaeton and techno.

What an epic spot! I got a tattoo there and spent some time in the jacuzzi. The food was awesome too, and the bar made super delicious drinks.
