There’s a separately owned restaurant on site, which came in handy when we didn’t feel like going out. Our room faced the street, so it was a little noisy until 10, just a heads-up to bring earplugs. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, though. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and hot water worked. When we asked for extra blankets, they brought them right away. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a great price.

The location is great, but room #1 was right by the street, reception desk, and front door, so we heard a lot. The windows and walls didn’t keep the street noise out, and twice during our four-night stay I had to ask people outside to lower their voices. Inside, we could hear everything at reception too, including the night guard coughing and phones playing videos. They had no other rooms available. If you stay here, make sure you don’t get room #1.

The neighborhood is excellent for walking to good areas, and the hotel was quiet and nice. I think I was the only guest that day, since I never saw anyone else during my stay. My room had no AC, but I didn’t need it; the afternoons and mornings were cold. The TV was the one issue. The channel changed several times while I was in the room, then Netflix came on and a movie started playing. I didn’t like that, and it’s why I gave four stars. Near the end of my visit, I opened the door and saw a young teenager in the lobby working and watching TV on his phone, so I’m assuming it was him. I let it go, but the owner should address this. I’m sure it’s happened to someone else. Apart from the TV, it really was a great hotel.
