Hotel Casa Bansley

Our flight was canceled and our plans were thrown off, but the hotel staff helped us get a taxi for the new flight. They even lent us money until we could reach an ATM, and kept in touch with us the whole time. We really appreciated their help getting our vacation started.

There are only three rooms at this special hotel, and the decor really adds to the Antigua experience. The service was very good, especially Ana Maria and Saul, who were professional and helpful. I'd only suggest offering more breakfast choices. I definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight every morning. It was fresh, homemade, and delicious, with sunlight on the volcanoes in the distance. Casa Bansley feels like a peaceful retreat full of art, and the team treats you like family. From the moment my husband and I arrived, it felt more like being guests in someone's beautiful home than staying at a hotel. The place is serene and carefully designed, with artwork in every corner that kept catching our eye. Our room was spacious, spotless, and cozy, with thoughtful little details. All the staff were kind and attentive without hovering. Ana, Carolina, and Manuel deserve a special mention for their warmth and attention to detail. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for.

Our late flight out of Guatemala meant we needed somewhere to leave our bags and a ride back to Guatemala City. Carolina, Mario, and Manuel were incredibly gracious. They opened the hotel so we could store our luggage and arranged a private shuttle in a comfortable van to GUA airport. That evening, we went up to the second-floor terrace and saw some amazing eruptions on Fuego. We'll definitely look to stay at Casa Bansley when we return to Antigua. Thanks again to the team!
