Rooms on the first floor were handy with luggage, especially if you don't like stairs. The place has a relaxed, quaint feel and is near some nice coffee shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great, freshly prepared in the mornings.

We spent most of our time at the hotel on the lovely rooftop terrace, having breakfast with rich, strong local coffee. Our host Julio was gracious, flexible and accommodating, and the rooms were beautiful. We had an incredible four days at Hotel Sor Juana. If you get the chance to stay in Antigua, you'll want to come back again and again.

The towels smelled like dirty towels from a crowded gym, which was easily the worst part of the stay. The food quality was poor too. Breakfast was repetitive, with small portions, no variety and no chance to choose something different.
