The laundry cost 7 USD, and they first handed us someone else's bag. When we pointed that out, they didn't seem surprised, then gave us another bag with random items belonging to other people. A lot of our clothes were still wet after more than 24 hours, despite the tumble dryer. They weren't apologetic. I wouldn't recommend the service.

The shop's noise carried on late, and inside the room there were cockroaches and ants everywhere. The shower was broken, there was no hot water or lighting, and the bed had no covers. The working air conditioning and location were the only things in its favor. I doubt the place could pass even a low standard health and safety inspection. I called it a dump, and after all that, they didn't refund any of my payment.

The music from the club bar next door was blaring past midnight, and the room wasn't clean. There was hair in the shower area and on the walls. The service was poor, there wasn't a mirror in the room, and while I sat on the bed, bedbugs bit me.

I didn't stay at the hotel, but I used their lavanderia. They charged Q 90 for a small bag of laundry. I was still thinking in pesos, but what a rip-off. In Mexico it would've been under $4 US.

The lavanderia was quick and easy: I dropped off a small bag at 9am and picked it up at 230pm. It cost 35qz. The washing wasn't the cleanest, though.
