I booked a room advertised with a private bath, and it did have one, but it was across the hall. I travel for work and have stayed in thousands of hotels, and I’ve never had a private bathroom outside the room. To me, that’s false advertising. I would’ve chosen somewhere else if I’d known I’d have to get dressed every time I needed to use it. I’d be very wary about booking here.

We booked that same evening for one night. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we got a good rest. Staff were friendly and professional, and in the morning we had a delicious homemade breakfast. We took the included shuttle to the airport when we were ready. I’d stay here again.

The place felt cold and unwelcoming, almost as if we were locked in a facility instead of staying at a hotel. The staff were rude and confrontational, and we felt unwelcome right away. The online photos were very deceiving, nothing like what we found in person. We arrived late in the evening and were told we couldn’t eat in any common area, so we had to eat dinner in our room. One of the worst stays I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A lovely garden and freshly prepared breakfast made this a very nice place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff were really nice, and it’s close to the airport in a safe part of Guatemala City.

When we arrived around 10 PM, we were told we couldn’t eat in the common areas. Because of their strange rules, we had to order food and eat in our room. The atmosphere felt more like a prison than a hotel, and it wasn’t worth the money or stress. The online photos were completely misleading and didn’t match the place at all. Staff were impolite and outright aggressive, which set a terrible tone from the start. I’d never recommend it.
