The staff are truly excellent, friendly and professional, and clearly doing their best. The facilities, though, need a complete remodel. This hotel was about 20 years ago, but time hasn’t been kind, and it feels very outdated now. With renovations it could live up to its past reputation. As it is, it falls well below expectations.

The rooms were very clean and the service was great during my two nights in the capital. The hot water was lovely, and the food was great. My only issue was that the charging cables didn’t work. I do recommend staying here.

The hotel is old and urgently needs remodeling. They hold events, which leave the elevators overcrowded, so guests can wait more than 15 minutes for one. The airport transfer costs $10, three times what a taxi costs.

The breakfast and service were great, and the views were lovely. The airport is literally across the street. But the hotel is dirty and very outdated. I asked for an ADA-accessible room and explained in Spanish that I couldn’t easily get in and out of a tub. They only had tub and shower combinations, and I slipped in the bathtub. Thank God I didn’t break anything, but I feel like a Mac truck hit me. The spa is divided, with women on one side and men on the other, which I understand, but I’m not sure where someone like me who needs assistance is supposed to go to enjoy those amenities. The hot tub didn’t work either. After reading reviews and looking at the online pictures, we decided to stay here, but I wouldn’t come back.
