Suites Terraza Imperial

The room had plenty of space, was clean, and came with what I needed. The staff were attentive and polite, so arrival and checkout went smoothly. I could hear some noise at night from the elevator, though, and better soundproofing between rooms would help. Suites Terraza Imperial was a comfortable, convenient stay, and I’d gladly come back or recommend it.

We couldn’t sleep because of strange noises all night. Maybe the window wasn’t sealed properly, but I’m not sure. The hotel looks decent, yet the linens smelled bad and had hair on them, and the pillows weren’t clean either. There was just one thin blanket, more like a sheet, for two people. At $120 USD a night, I wouldn’t recommend it. I’d choose the Hilton instead.

The location is very central, and I was impressed by what I got for the price. The room was huge, with a spacious bedroom and a separate living area with two couches, a TV, and a large coffee table. There was also a kitchenette with a microwave, cooktop, full-size refrigerator, bar, and stools. Both the living room and bedroom had a balcony and a view. Check-in was efficient, and the front desk staff were helpful.

As a solo female traveler, I was advised not to walk alone after 6pm, though walking around until sundown was fine. There are a few restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and the “Metro” is close for getting to the historic district. The staff were super friendly, the suite was clean, and it had everything needed for cooking, even a blender for smoothies. I slept well, too. The outdoor gym is just as pictured, and the terrace on the 12th floor was very pleasant. Highly recommend.
