Breakfast was delicious, and Todos Santos has changed a lot over the last 30 years. We visited in the off-season, so it was cold, and the rooms had no heat. The electric showerhead couldn’t get the water warm enough for a comfortable shower. Remember to drink only bottled water in Guatemala.

It kept us from having to sleep in the car, but the price was high. The mattresses were old, with springs sticking out. There was no heater, and although we needed to shower, the water was freezing and it was cold outside.

For 135Q I got a spacious, clean private room, and the hotel staff were very nice.

The bathroom setup feels unsafe, with a dangerous step and no non-slip floor. The mattresses need replacing too. With all due respect, the town itself is beautiful and magical.

The hotel is very expensive for the rooms it offers. The beds have worn springs, and there’s no hot water in the bathrooms. I wouldn’t recommend it.
