Hotel y Restaurante Backpackers

There's a lot of traffic noise since the hotel is right under the bridge. Our private room was fine, with a shared bathroom. It rained all night, so the room wasn't too warm; otherwise, there would've been a fan. You can buy tickets to Livingston at reception and get picked up from the hotel by boat. Breakfast at the restaurant was good, and there are also some good places to eat nearby. Lots of cute cats and two dogs live at the hotel. I'd recommend it for 1-2 nights.

A dorm bed costs 50Q a night. It's a very basic hostel, but good for the price, with a nice spot on the river. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The two guys working nights are lovely. The owner also runs a foundation that helps educate local children, a great cause worth supporting by staying here and eating at the restaurant. Thank you.

They told us at the front desk it was disco night and the music had to stay on until 12:00. We could hear it right in our room. I complained, but they chose to do nothing. Come on, nobody was even listening. It was awful trying to sleep with lousy music filling the hotel. I really can't recommend this place. What kind of hotel treats its guests like that?

The dock is lovely, with a great spot to swim or just relax, and the value was amazing. It's a really nice setup. It was quiet while we were there, although Rio dulce was quiet too, which was a shame because we loved staying there!
