Our stay was a really bad experience. We booked a family room for four people, and the confirmed reservation clearly said it had three beds. Instead, we were given a small room with just two small beds for four. The staff were friendly when we first arrived, but their attitude changed as soon as we raised the room issue. At reception they said we had to pay extra. I showed them the confirmation and photos and explained we'd already paid for four people, but they didn't care. They insisted we pay more or give up the breakfast that was included in the price we had paid. When we left, they even took the small bottle of water from my two-year-old son, saying it belonged to the room. The manager told us on the phone to "just leave" if we didn't like it, so we did. They dropped our family, including young children, at a random parking lot and left us to figure things out ourselves. Absolutely not recommended. Stay far away.

Don't follow Google Maps to the hotel. Head to "Parqueo La Playa" and call them from there to send a lancha. It's a five-minute boat ride. The rooms were fine, with warm shower water, and the staff were attentive and helpful. You can't pay through booking.com, but paying by card at the hotel is possible. I enjoyed the food. The main downside was the noise. I wanted to disconnect and relax, but there was loud music or maintenance and construction from the neighbors.

The property is beautiful, with a phenomenal view and incredible food. The rooms are cute and super comfortable, and we even took a kayak out on the river. Such an amazing visit! :)

The boat transfers between the hotel and the Rio Dulce Litegua station were included in my price, even for my 5am departure. That was a lifesaver. They were also so kind and helpful despite my limited Spanish. The rooms, bathrooms, and floors were very clean, the A/C worked well, and breakfast was delicious! 😋

It's a lovely hotel right on the banks of Rio Dulce, about an easy 10-minute boat ride from Rio Dulce Town. The staff were friendly, and the owner went out of his way to arrange our transport to Tikal at the end of our stay. They can help set up a day trip to Livingston as well. There's a nice restaurant on site.
