We paid 400 quetzales for a room with two queen beds, which was a great price compared with the other hotels we asked. The location was amazing, with views of the main streets from our window. When the remote didn’t work, the owner came over to fix it and was really friendly.

Just off Calle Santander, this little hidden spot is such a lovely base for visiting Panajachel. The rooms are cozy and peaceful after a day around Lake Atitlán, and the hospitality feels warm and genuine, like being welcomed by family. I left smiling and would love to come back to this corner of Sololá.
