Hotel Posada Belen

The only good thing was the free water in a jug. There were ants in my bed, and I found a cockroach above it caught in a spider web. The shared bathroom had spiders and webs everywhere, and the rooms were among the worst I've stayed in. I wanted to like this place and wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but it was a very bad experience. Also, no credit cards, which is the first thing to know.

There was drinkable water, and I liked the view from the balcony. The hotel was very clean, though it has no A/C. I would've liked a hanger in the washroom for our towels.

The mountains and lake views were lovely, and a very friendly family took care of us. Clean rooms and great value too. I'd highly recommend this place!

The views were great, and the staff were kind, though they don't speak English. The rooms felt really dingy, with pipes sticking out of the wall and what looked like a random hole in it. Some big bugs crawled under the door. Security didn't seem great to me, and it felt like someone could probably rob you.
