Hotel Fairmont

The rooms are comfortable and the price is acceptable, but the service really isn't good. They should pay more attention to it and make sure the basic supplies needed for a stay are available. I don't plan to come back; I'll look at other options.

The place felt eerie, almost like Hotel Transylvania, even though the facilities themselves aren't ugly. It's gloomy from the lobby on, with dust everywhere, dirty sheets, old beds, and a musty smell in the room. The walls even looked like they had mold growing on them. The family running it employs children. The restaurant also looked dirty and was disappointing, and there was no lighting in the hallways.

The nightly rate doesn't match the service. There's a lot that needs maintenance: leaks from hallway ceilings, water dripping inside rooms, and damp patches and mold in most rooms. I had to request another room because of it. The bathroom sinks and shower faucets were rusty and didn't work, and the odor from the floor and surface disinfectant was overpowering and unpleasant. The beds had no blankets and the mattresses weren't comfortable, a real concern for anyone traveling with children or older people. Inside the rooms, drainpipes are exposed, and some curtains are held up with straps without frames. Even after replacing the TV remote twice, it still didn't work.

It's dark and gloomy, with run-down, awful rooms and no accessible parking. They lock the hotel and you in, and since nobody is at reception, getting out is a hassle. I can't recommend it.
