The Seed Habitat

We spent almost a week at The Seed Habitat, surrounded by lush nature. The house is beautifully decorated, and the view from every room is amazing. It was easy to feel at home. The host was lovely and quick to respond, and the staff were helpful and cleaned the house every day. Some of our best times in Guatemala were there. I highly recommend it. 😊

I stayed at the Seed in June with my young daughter, and it was the best place I’ve ever stayed. We had an amazing time together, reconnecting with each other, ourselves, and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful. They found us food after we arrived late, arranged rides to and from San Marcos, and shared beautiful places to visit around the lake. The houses are colorful, clean, inviting, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere felt calm and comfortable, and the spaces were cozy. I drank morning coffee on the terrace while watching birds. My daughter slept in, played in the garden and pool, jumped on the trampoline, and each night went straight to the library full of children’s books. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and grateful.

My girlfriends and I had a magical week at The Seed. The lake views were gorgeous, and both the house and gardens were stunning. We turned the stay into a mini retreat with sunrise yoga on the rooftop, massages overlooking the lake, handmade vegetarian meals, and sauna time at night. It was a much-needed, wonderful escape, with excellent service. Highly recommend staying here :)

The cabin’s cozy feel and sustainable approach made it comfortable while showing real care for nature. Farm-to-table meals and warm staff hospitality added to the stay. With the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful volcano views, The Seed was an enchanting retreat. It was a wonderful getaway with my boyfriend, and we left with memories we’ll treasure.
