Wyndham Garden Guam

The location is great, close to restaurants and shops, and the attendants were amazing, accommodating, and gave great customer service. The pool is small but cute, and I would stay again. There’s no breakfast, though the laundry and gym are behind the hotel. I had trouble with the bathroom lighting as a dark-skinned woman trying to apply makeup and do skincare. I don’t understand the LED lights on the mirror, they were completely useless. The sitting chairs had stains and hair from previous guests, and the bed was hard. I don’t know why they haven’t fixed the bed when so many people complain about it. Personally, the firmness didn’t bother me.

For the price, this is a good option on Guam. The rooms are compact but modern, and the beds are firm.

I’ve stayed here for months for work and got to know the staff. They’ve gone above and beyond the whole time, even storing my luggage so I wouldn’t have to carry it around before coming back. The maintenance guy is friendly too and always responds incredibly quickly when I need something. My only complaint is the beds, which are quite firm. That’s personal preference, and the staff can provide a mattress topper that helps a bit. I’ve stayed at many work hotels, and this place has some of the friendliest, best staff I’ve come across.

I DIDN’T MEAN ANY DISRESPECT OR WANT TO BASH A BUSINESS. THIS IS MY HONEST ACCOUNT OF WHAT HAPPENED. I DIDN’T HAVE TIME TO TALK IN PERSON, SO I LEFT A REVIEW, AND I PROMISED HER I’D UPDATE IT AFTER WE SPOKE. THANK YOU AGAIN TO ANABELLE FOR REACHING OUT, LETTING ME KNOW THE ISSUE HAD BEEN ADDRESSED, AND SAYING I COULD CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY ABOUT FUTURE CONCERNS. I APPRECIATE IT AND WOULD STAY AGAIN. MY STAY AT WYNDHAM GARDENS WAS VERY GOOD. IT WAS PEACEFUL, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, THE HOTEL WAS WELL MAINTAINED AND NOT TOO CROWDED, AND THE NO SOLICITING RULE HELPED ME FEEL SAFE. I WOULD STAY AND RECOMMEND IT AGAIN. I HOPE MANAGEMENT AND THAT ONE EMPLOYEE UNDERSTAND I WAS BEING HONEST, NOT TRYING TO CAUSE HARM OR DISRESPECT. MY ONE NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WAS WITH A MAINTENANCE WORKER. WHEN I TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHAT I NEEDED, HE KEPT CUTTING ME OFF TO SAY, “I NEED TO SEE IT FIRST TO FIX IT.” I WASN’T GIVEN A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN THE ISSUE. FROM THE FIRST DAY I REQUESTED HIS HELP, HIS ATTITUDE FELT RUDE. He slammed his ladder around, moved furniture aggressively, and sighed loudly, as if we were disturbing him or should fix the problem ourselves. He did get the work done, but I wish he’d been polite and professional. I hesitated to raise other concerns because I didn’t want that negative energy again. Workers should treat guests more respectfully. Wyndham Gardens, please encourage good hospitality from your employees.
