I went to the restaurant on Saturday night and ordered a burger. After only a few bites, I felt sick because it was completely raw inside. I called the manager over and showed him, but he didn’t seem to care. I’m not going back. Upper management should train the staff if they want to offer hospitality. The bar and restaurant being completely empty at 9 pm on a Saturday says plenty. I work as a customer service consultant and was trained by Forbes travel guide, so seeing service this poor is disappointing. I could say more, but I don’t think it’s worth my time.

There’s plenty of free parking, wheelchair accessible entrances and exits, and Wi-Fi. The receptionists were okay, and the cleaners did a great job. Rooms were fine, though I’d like a phone in every room for convenience and safety. It’s above average, but still has room to improve.

The staff had some kind moments, but several seemed new to the job and untrained. When I went to the front desk for water, the person there was on a personal call and ignored me for about five minutes until I interrupted. I was told the restaurant breakfast was terrible by someone who works there, though I didn’t try it. The pool is at the back, usually unattended, and the pool bar was empty. I heard someone is sometimes there on Sundays. With polished tiles throughout, I could see an accident happening. Getting from the lobby to the restaurant also means walking through a bathroom area, which felt odd. I spent three nights and asked for a king suite. The fridge leaked badly and the bathroom was very dirty, so I moved to another suite. There, the fridge was barely cold and had gunk inside, and the bathroom was dirty again. The jacuzzi seemed to have bodily fluids in it, and the sink was unclean. For a hotel that had opened only a few months earlier, it looked neglected. The lighting was very poor, and although there was a large desk and chair, there were no nearby outlets for work. A big PVC pipe was exposed by the split unit. The huge closet had no hangers, there were no toiletries or cups, and the towels shed a lot of lint. My mother had a two-bedroom queen room with a kettle but no cups either. When we asked, we were told to go to the restaurant. There was one microwave on the floor for everyone, but no plates or utensils. The bed was very hard, which I didn’t like, though some people might. The pillows were extremely hard and heavy, maybe 30 lbs each. There’s no daily housekeeping unless you request it, and staff only work specified hours. The next day I had to go to the back of the hotel near the pool to get water and toilet paper. There was no phone in the room. The sink sat half under a window and half under a mirror, which made no sense. The room looked carelessly built and furnished, and my door lock looked damaged, as if someone had tried to break in before. After the first hour I wanted to move to another hotel, but stuck it out since it was only three nights. To me it felt like a US motel. At this price, I was very disappointed. I’d take positive reviews here or elsewhere with a grain of salt, since they may be affiliated with the hotel. My family stayed at the Kings hotel a few months ago and said it was much, much better. Unless this hotel makes major changes, invests more, redesigns, and adds basic items, I wouldn’t stay again. I’d consider other options.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The faucet and shower water came out brown, and my kids and I ended up with diarrhea and vomiting. The front desk receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and since there was no room phone, every request meant walking back and forth to the desk. Our room also lacked a microwave, a secure safe, enough nightstands for two beds, a hair dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. There was nowhere to do what we needed in the room without making that trip. Amazonia mall is about a minute away, with plenty of food options nearby. The location is good, and both the room and shared areas were clean. Reception was helpful and good. The restaurant is basic, and the food quality was hit and miss. I had one experience with a rude waitress.
