Odyssey Suites

The condition of the place was bad enough that I left and found better accommodation. I was excited to stay, so I felt heartbroken by how it turned out. I don’t want anyone else to have that experience. I’m not trying to insult anyone, just sharing what happened. I’ve traveled to 12 countries in the last 15 months and haven’t had anything like this. I uploaded photos, and would have uploaded videos too if I could. Even the staff at the place I moved to laughed at my choice. Think carefully before booking, and don’t waste your money. The agreement said cleaning would cost $30 USD, but at the door they charged whatever they felt like. Water came out brown from both the showers and faucet. They said it was fixed, but I had the same problem again two days later, so I chose to leave. The property is falling apart. The owners live in New York and rely on locals I found unreliable rather than professionals to maintain the place. The owners need to see the conditions for themselves. When I raised the issue, they blamed me for the damage. Edit: After reading their response to my review, I could see how much disrespect I’d experienced. They did try to make things right, but the place needs a serious overhaul. I’m only stating the facts. Their response gives you a sense of what you might experience.
