Windjammer International Cuisine & Comfort Inn

We found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. Windjammer is a simple place, but it was comfortable enough. We would have chosen the Pegasus or Marriott if their rates weren't so high.

The location was convenient and I felt safe there. Breakfast was just right, and the staff were especially accommodating. My room was clean enough, though it could use a few touch-ups.

The room setup was handy, especially having a fridge and microwave in each one. Breakfast was simple, usually bake and saltfish, or eggs and bread, with fruit, but it tasted really good. The rooms could use some care, and my kids thought the furniture looked dated. WiFi was very weak, and there weren't any TV channels to watch, though you could connect to your own Netflix or Hulu. At check-in there was a bit of confusion. Mr J Charles helped sort it out, and his professionalism was 110%. That's why I'd come back to Windjammer. Partway through the stay, I was asked to move temporarily while cable was being installed. I ended up staying in the second room, and all the back and forth was a hassle. Management could have offered a discount or something off a future stay to make up for the inconvenience.

The peaceful setting made it easy to rest, and there’s a pool. Rooms are modern and air conditioned, breakfast comes with lots of tropical treats, and the food was delicious. Prices are affordable, and the service from Mr. Griffith and the hotel and administrative staff was great. They really want guests to enjoy their stay. It’s a popular respite in Kitty, so book early. The location is convenient for public transport and historic sights in Georgetown and its surroundings. Restful and fun.
