Lander Grand Hotel

The location is good, but I had a bad two-night stay. The general hygiene was concerning. The shower water wasn't hot, the mattress was hard, and the air in the air-conditioned room had a slightly mouldy or smoky smell.

Room 2 on the 19th floor was great. I was really impressed by the furniture, the design, the space, how clean it was and how comfortable the room felt. The front desk greeted me with a smile. Thank you 🙏

The rooms are generally old and dusty, but the location is convenient. Those big windows are a plus, and you definitely get the harbor view.

The harbour view was beautiful as soon as we entered the room, and the rooms themselves were spacious. My family of four needed two rooms on separate floors because this small hotel didn't offer double-room options, and taking two three-person rooms made for a steep bill. The bathroom is small and might feel narrow for larger people, though the hot water pressure was good and the toiletries were nice. The bed was comfortable, the other amenities decent, and I appreciated being able to open the windows a little, even with the noisy expressway outside. The WiFi stayed fast and reliable through our four-day visit. The air conditioning seemed to be centrally controlled, and I couldn't adjust it properly. Our first night was freezing. Even with two beds in the room, the strict policy allowed only one extra blanket. The hotel felt quiet and cosy, the staff were polite, and the little elevator was the fastest I've ever seen in a hotel, a big help since it was heavily used. The location is especially convenient if you're taking the ferry.
