Tuve

I was so glad to find Tuve at the last minute for my 6 nights in HK. It's only a three-minute walk from Tin Hau station and the waterfront promenade, one of the prettiest routes I've ever run. The room was even better than the photos and housekeeping kept it spotless each day. Thanks Don!! Compared with other HK hotels, it was a steal: a super affordable price for a spacious, beautifully designed room and bathroom. I got lucky with a top-floor room and a view of the city and water. I'd definitely stay again if I'm back in HK.

For Hong Kong, I found the room unusually spacious, though maybe I'm just used to smaller rooms there. The bed was large and super comfortable, the marble design with black door frame looked elegant, and the lighting could be changed with a button. All the toiletries were LE LABO, which impressed me. I loved the table too. It looks like a brown square box at first, then opens into a foldable table that saves space. The lobby was stylish, with a unique Maneki-neko on the table, and its single toilet was surprisingly big. The entrance looks really cool, though at first I didn't realize it was the main entrance.

The reception team were exceptionally friendly, helpful and pleasant the whole time. Breakfast is served outside the hotel, just a short walk away, but the food and coffee were amazing. For a reasonably priced small boutique hotel, the service was above expectations. It was my first time in the area and at a boutique hotel, so I was a little skeptical at first. Positive reviews from previous guests were consistent, so I decided to try it, and the stay turned out wonderful. The room was bright, very clean and had all the necessary amenities. It's in a residential neighborhood, so the area is peaceful and less crowded, a nice quiet getaway. If the team keeps up these standards, it's a hidden gem worth considering.

In Causeway Bay, this modern place gave us a quiet, remote haven after the busy streets outside. The staff made us feel welcome and were considerate and supportive throughout. Before checkout, they reminded us to check the safe, and we never felt rushed or pushed. It was spotlessly clean, and I'd highly recommend it.
