Metropark Hotel, Kowloon

After a long flight from Europe, I used Metropark Hotel Kowloon for a short stop before boarding a cruise. It was an easy place to shower, rest, and recover. The rooms were clean and practical, and the price was reasonable by Hong Kong standards. It isn’t especially modern or luxurious, but it worked well as a transit stop, for a short stay, or a quick business trip. I’d pick it for the convenient location and value rather than for a luxury experience.

The location made it easy to explore, and the hotel has a local shuttle. Our room was small, as you’d expect in Hong Kong, but the bed was comfortable and we heard no elevator noise even though we were right beside it. Everything was tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly. Just be aware that breakfast and bottled water aren’t complimentary.

We had a smooth check-in and check-out, and the staff were friendly and efficient throughout our October 10-14 stay. The room was clean and had the basic essentials. The free shuttle runs to and from Langham mall, which is convenient; across the road there’s a large grocery store, plus good restaurants and a few decent convenience stores in the same block. No extra frills, but a solid stay for the price. I’d come back next time I’m in Hong Kong.

We walked a lot before realizing there were shuttle buses to take guests to and from the subway station 😂. The room and bathroom were clean, and the slippers were comfortable. So far, so good. The pork chop place next to the hotel was the best.
