Metropark Mongkok

There’s a direct A21 Airport Express bus from the airport, with a stop right in front of the hotel. Our first room, 726, hadn’t been cleaned properly or made ready for the next guests. I showed the picture to the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a much more presentable room.

We were happy staying here, and the staff were polite and friendly. Most areas were clean, though the wardrobe needs a little more attention: dust was clearly visible around the water sprinkle area. We could hear some voices from other units, but it was still acceptable. The main problem was the very poor Wi-Fi, so it’s better to use your own data.

We stayed five nights, November 16-21, 2025, and paid around 5k-6k per night. The reception staff were kind and helpful, and the waiting and dining areas were good, with the dining area especially nice. Food was decent. There’s no bar or parking, and no pool. The room was okay, quiet but a little dark. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom had hot and cold showers but no bidet. There was a telephone near the bed and toilet, plus a trash bin and amenities. Overall, I’d rate it 8/10.

The daily cleaning was impeccable, and the room was quite spacious, with a separate shower area, TV, Balmain products, slippers, and complimentary tea. It’s in a central part of Kowloon, with easy access to the MTR, buses, and shopping centres. For the money, this is probably one of the best options in the Mong Kok area. Amazing stay, I’d give it more than five stars if I could.
