Apart Hotel Pico Bonito

We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel was fairly clean and convenient for its location, and the pool was lovely, especially in this heat. Our shower had some trouble regulating the temperature. I’m pretty sure the other showers are better, given how well the hotel is put together.

We slept so well in the dark room, and the strong AC helped too. It was very clean, the shower was hot, and the Wi-Fi worked great while I was online for work. The staff were friendly and quick to help. They brought dinner to our room, breakfast was nice, and there was a small area selling snacks and medicine. We didn’t get to swim, but the pool area looked really nice. We’ll definitely come back.

I paid US dollar 160$ for two rooms for one night. The beds seemed older than the building, and after one night I might need a chiropractor. You have to ask for a bed sheet because the bed doesn’t come with a cover. They charge for all sorts of things, even plastic wear.

The hotel is outside La Ceiba, so if you’re heading to the beach early, allow at least 20 minutes extra. Traffic gets pretty heavy from 7 to 8 am and 6 to 7 pm. The beds were comfortable: two in one room and a king-size in the other. Both rooms had AC, a little noisy but not annoying to me. The cabins have two rooms, a private bathroom, a mini kitchen, and a living room with a flat TV, and cost around $45.00 per night for two people. There’s also a pool and a restaurant. The food wasn’t the best, but it did the job. The staff were very kind. A nice option if you want to be comfortable away from the city.
