The staff were kind and helpful, and the place was clean. It's cheap and cheerful, with a great spot near the waterfront and market shopping. Not new or chic, but it has what you need. Bring water, or get it from the cooler at the front desk. There's also a soda fridge and an in-house local food restaurant popular with island food lovers, serving rice, beans, meat, and salad.

The receptionist helped arrange a taxi to Hedman Alas for the next morning, and the air conditioning was much appreciated. It's a friendly place to stay before or after a trip to the bay islands. The restaurant food was alright, and the room was decent for the price.
