We had an amazing morning rafting on the river. Amilio and his team were friendly, well organized, and focused on safety. Thanks for the awesome videos, highly recommend!

What a stunning natural setting. The resort is a bit rough around the edges, but the beautiful surroundings make up for it. We camped March 9-12 with two small tents. Our allocated area was limited, though it was fine since we were the only campers. Mine was partly in the path to the river, so rafting groups had to step around it a little, but nobody complained. The owner said it was quiet and that we could camp by the river. Self standing concrete tents overlooking that watery haven would be even better. We rafted on our second day, the only boat on the water, with three people onboard and one kayaker as backup. I’ve done the Zambezi from Vic Falls, so this was milder, but I enjoyed it very much. Ramon was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide who made an effort to speak English. At US$36, it seems good value compared with nearby rafting offers. Bringing our own tent cost $4 per person per night. There are also two to three permanently pitched canvas tents. Ramon let us use the kitchen, where there was bottled water, and they have a gas cooker, but ask permission before using it. S. 12/3/24. Come to Honduras!!

A peaceful spot to reconnect with nature and tune out from civilization. There’s plenty to do, including hikes in the national parks, rafting, swimming, and kayaking. You can rent one of their tents and stay on site near a pretty little waterfall, with trees all around and a million stars overhead. The tent’s two twin beds were comfortable and affordable. There’s a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, too. The guides are very friendly. I highly recommend it!

I camped for five nights in my own tent and was the only guest. I really enjoyed the quiet and spending time in nature. The communication was consistently kind and respectful. I could use the kitchen, though I had to negotiate a bit. There was no electricity because a tree had fallen. The rafting was good, but the trip wasn’t very long and I wished it had been longer. Maybe that depends on the water level and season.

We had such a good time with these guys. Everyone was professional and took safety seriously, and they had refreshments ready when our adventure was done. Emilio picked us up from our hotel and spoke excellent English. He was friendly and hospitable, as were our guides. Ramon was my favorite. He was serious about safety but still personable, a little shy at first, then quick to warm up and tease my daughter about the big a** spider in Honduras. A great experience all around!
