I stayed here on two separate nights. The area seemed quiet, which was a plus, and the rooms were quite large with comfortable beds. Still, there's not much else good to say. The Wi-Fi stopped working on my second stay, and though the floors looked swept, my socks and feet turned black. One room had an old, badly installed AC unit, and the other had a mini-split. The towels were threadbare. For the same price or a little more, you can find a nicer hotel.

I want to save money when I'm only staying overnight, but the value here is poor. La Ceiba needs better hotel options, since the better ones cost well over $120 a night. I've stayed here a few times, and they quote one price by phone then charge more at checkout every time. It's currently L.1500 for a premium room with a king bed and breakfast, which isn't a good deal. We chose the most expensive premium room this time because we needed the extra space for our baby, but couldn't see anything premium about it. The bed was noisy and needed replacing. The electrical setup is a joke, with extension cords in view just to power the lamps, and you have to crawl behind the bed to plug in a phone. The bathroom sink needs repair, and they provide only two towels, possibly because they're afraid of theft or don't care about service quality. Staff often leave the windows and patio doors unlocked after cleaning, which isn't secure. There's a small parking lot with a watchee. The hotel's interior echoes like a canyon, so hallway chats and high heels are amplified. We always ask for a room away from the traffic noise. The pool is often used by locals partying, with alcohol and noisy, rude people. It usually ends at 10 pm, if you complain loudly enough. I don't understand why someone paying L.1500 for a room gets less say than people paying L.50 to do whatever they want. Is this a hotel or a party pool?

The hotel's exterior looked bad, and it wasn't very clean. Nearby businesses were shut down, and the Wi-Fi signal only reached a short distance.

The staff are friendly and nice. It's a good choice if you're trying to save some money while visiting beautiful La Ceiba.

A place worth visiting, with a nice pool, comfortable beds, excellent service, and clean surroundings.
