Cinia made us feel like family from the moment we got there. Her warmth and attention to detail were a big part of what made the stay so memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with views out to nature. Falling asleep to the ocean or nearby waterfalls was so peaceful. We came to Hotel Paraíso for a reunion with my wife’s family, and the setting was beautiful, with tropical greenery, beachfront access, and natural waterfalls. We enjoyed both pools, the mountain-water pool for a quiet morning swim and the oceanfront pool for afternoons with everyone. The food was fresh and full of authentic flavor. The staff also made our son’s birthday feel special and surprised him with a homemade cake that looked and tasted amazing. On our last night, a live band brought great music and energy, a lovely way to finish the trip. It was a really special family getaway, and we’d love to come back. Thank you, Cinia, and the whole team for giving our family such a lovely memory.

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel looks lovely by the beach, and there’s a nice pool. Service was excellent, though the rooms could use some updating.

We drove a long way with my big family, but they let other families in and turned us away. The front desk staff were unprofessional.

The beach was nice and clean, and the hotel has a lot of potential. The service, maintenance, and breakfast need work. Breakfast could use more fruit, less oil, and staff who know how to cook eggs. The food should also be protected from flies. There wasn’t any service or cart to help move our luggage from the car to the room. The pool water wasn’t clear, which seemed like a maintenance issue, and several parts of the floor were broken.

I went for a day pass. The restaurant was one bright spot, the food was excellent. The beach was only so-so: small and dirty, with a few car oil containers and empty beer bottles. There were an unbelievable number of mosquitoes, so bring spray or you’ll get bitten up. The property itself is pretty, but most of the nicer facilities are reserved for overnight guests. Day-pass visitors get a separate pool and restaurant, and while they aren’t ugly, they’re not as nice as the guest-only areas. The day-pass pool was a bit dirty, mostly leaves and dirt, and we had to find someone to unlock the bathrooms. It made me think the day-pass area doesn’t get many visitors. There are a lot of restrictions for day-pass guests: no food or snacks, no music speakers, and access to roughly 99% of the property is off limits because it’s for hotel guests. It felt like we were paying for the privilege of being there. The competition allows much more, so the restrictions were surprising. The business replied and then deleted its reply. They basically told me to screw off and eat at other restaurants if I didn’t like theirs, and said the restrictions were because they’re a “boutique” hotel. I won’t come back as a day-pass guest. There are much better alternatives with better experiences. I’d give this place a 3 out of 10.
